I think if they made a full-length original game in this exact style, minus the camera feature, it would be a huge hit although probably wouldn't have sold as well if it was originally like that. Even so, the Game Boy Camera is still one of my favorite Game Boy games to this day, and perhaps my favorite Nintendo gimmick of all time. Don't butter me up! We spent the whole weekend in outside taking pictures and videos. Still have mine. I remember making a sweet movie staring a plush Godzooky toy.

I remember having mine with a printer as well. Oh boy was I a happy camper. Just hanging around on the playground with one of these was a blast. I remember having a printer for mine which printed out your pictures on tiny tiny little stickers, no bigger than a postage stamp. I put mine on my pencil case. Joes" or "NES". The image of a syringe was changed to an image of the Game Boy Printer due to Nintendo's censorship policies, and the trademark symbol was moved. The screen that appears as a picture is printing was edited slightly. The big "Love" graphic was removed, as was the name of the bear enemy from Super Mario Land 2 Tamanoripu. The "stand by" screen that appears when transferring pictures between two Game Boy Cameras is different between both versions.

The international versions uses the art of Peach and Wario from Mario Kart In the Japanese version, there is a strange and inverted picture of two people, text which translates to "full of ideas" and Nintendo's first logo, which does a disappearing and reappearing pattern. The strange image in the Japanese release was changed to an image of Mario for the international releases.
